As I stand outside this morning, looking over an expansive golf course, I am ever more conscious of the magnificent beauty God has provided us, and the unimaginable extent of His grace.
In a little while I will be offering a prayer for veterans and the golfers who are raising money for their needs. As I watched the sun begin to shine through the clouds, it gives me pause, and a full heart.
Over 75 people have decided to take a day off from labor to work for an important cause. As they play, we remember why: as they recreate, we become more aware of those who rehabilitate from injury: as they experience winning and not, we remember that our freedom has been won by sacrifice.
Today, I invite you to pray with me for all our military, all who have served, and especially all who have sacrificed on our behalf so we might taste and see the goodness God has blessed us with!
