“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.” – Psalm 127
We start each day with a moment of reflection, meditation, and/or prayer. In acknowledging God’s presence in our lives, we allow ourselves to be wide open to the blessings and grace that are showered down upon us constantly.
But it does something else, something far more tangible. By beginning our waking hours with a moment of peace and connection, we set ourselves up to deal with whatever comes our way. That short time helps us to realize we are not alone, we have hope and a Divine Being Who loves us.
I don’t know about you, but my house can’t be built up or even continue standing without God’s help. Acknowledging Him gives me more than I could ever imagine.
So join me this morning in a pause, a moment of peace, and a prayer. Then enjoy a fantastic week!
Praying for you all to be blessed!
