“Heavenly Father, we praise and thank You that You are the Most High God Who rules in the kingdom of all humanity. You elevate leaders in our midst and are with us through the trying times, as well as the good ones.
Loving God, we lift up the leaders of our country, and all those You have set in positions of authority to rule and govern our nation, both political and religious, and we pray that they rule our land with wisdom and integrity.
We pray that each one will carry out their responsibilities with honesty for the benefit of the entire nation. Clothe each one with righteousness and justice, and we pray that all selfish ambitions would be laid aside and that Your plans and purposes are fulfilled for the benefit of all who live under this banner of freedom.
May Your ways be known in our country and may we turn to You in prayer and trust during difficult times. Continue to guide our country in ways of peace, justice, and truth; for we pray in Your Holy Name. Amen.”
